Re.05 Data Access

Access to data must be legally secure. This applies, for example, to research data, government data (Open Data), donated data, data from very large online platforms (cf. Art. 31 COM Draft Digital Services Act), data sharing services (cf. Art. 9 et seq. COM Draft Digital Governance Act), data altruism (cf. Art. 15 et seq. COM Draft Digital Governance Act), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

A consolidation of the regulations on data access and sharing is necessary ("Data Altruism Act").
